Basak is a legal consultant at Lawgate He is a graduate of Law from the University of Salahaddin  (2003). He joined the Syndicate of Lawyers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2003. Ever since, Basak Directed Law Gate firm, and led the legal and compatibility department at Tigris Enterprises Limited (2006-2009).
